Logos, Ethos, Pathos, and Kairos

Statement: The concepts of ethos, pathos, logos, and kairos are called the modes of persuasion. There are a lot of different applications where they are used, ranging from everyday interactions with others to big political speeches. A quote from Aristotle describes the philosophy of communication; Anybody can become angry – that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way – that is not within everybody’s power and is not easy.”
