Under Construction Series

Synopsis

The Under Construction series marks the first documentation of a pivotal point in my journey. It is centered around building sites, indicative of the new foundations and structures being raised in my psyche.

Not knowing what my life purpose was, after a door I had been fighting to keep open was closed, I was at a loss. It required breaking down whatever mental model I had created for myself and finding a new approach. 

Regardless of your age or experience, we all eventually hit a roadblock at some point in our lives when we need to ask ourselves: “What’s next?”

As the stars would have it, I purchased my first digital camera, a Nikon, after shooting for over two decades with a 35mm film Nikon camera. I guess you can say that I am a huge fan. This created an outlet to express the inner dialogue I was having with myself.

The message relayed in this series is that the foundation of your life is of paramount importance because it ensures that the structure of your soul can withstand the test of time.

I believe the human psyche should constantly be under construction to prevent neglect and falling into old or new destructive patterns.

You need a solid foundation to find FREEDOM!
