No Labels #056
Statement: Jackson Pollock's creative genius has had a profound influence on many artists, but he suffered from bipolar disorder and alcoholism for most of his life. Might we be willing to consider that mental illness is not only mood swings and every label associated with it, but also a place from which beauty, creativity, productivity, and insight are conceived?

Tears of Love
Statement: “Of course, I’ll hurt you. Of course, you’ll hurt me. Of course, we will hurt each other. But this is the very condition of existence. To become spring means accepting the risk of winter. To become presence means accepting the risk of absence.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery, ‘The Little Prince’.

The Cold Can’t Hurt Me Now
Statement: Spring means different things to different people. To me, it means that soon leaves and blossoms will be blooming after a long winter slumber. It is the time of year when we are gently reminded that all good things come to those who wait. Description: I named this limited edition print 'The Cold Can't Hurt Me Now' because the colours remind me of Spring. When I was a child, winter was such a miserable time of year for me, and I remember the excitement I felt as the windy August month was coming to an end and warmer days were on the horizon.

Understanding Love
Statement: True love can only exist where there is truth, transparency, and honesty, which creates the perfect condition for love to grow freely and flow unconditionally with no expectation of reciprocity, and therefore little or no disappointment.

Vital Information
Statement: FAITH is complete trust and confidence that while you are consciously living in the present, the future is taken care of. Description: I named this progressive art piece 'Vital Information' because the reflected object looks like an abbreviated (i) in information signs. Wherever we go, whether abroad or at home, we are sure to find an information center that would assist us on our journey.
