Abundant Life I

The color wheel was invented in 1666 by Isaac Newton, who mapped the color spectrum onto a circle. It is the basis of color theory because it shows the relationship between colors.

Colour Theory helps us to understand how to balance color in our living and working spaces. The basic rule is that 60% is allocated to the dominant colour, 30% to the secondary colour, and 10% to the accent colour.

Deciding what mood you want to create for your office will help you choose a color palette that matches the mood. Having said that, what do the colours of this office say about the company?

Let us take a closer look. Here we chose green as our dominant colour because green is very calming. The bright green is symbolic of growth, vitality, and renewal, whereas the darker value symbolizes prestige, wealth, and abundance. So as soon as your clients step into your office, they get a sense of security.

The secondary color we chose for this space is the warm walnut joinery and the office desk that lends a welcoming aesthetic. After all, we do want our clients to feel welcome.

Our accent color is yellow, and the reason we chose this is that it reminds us of the sun and invokes a feeling of happiness and prosperity.

I encourage you to take a closer look at your office interior to evaluate whether the companies ethos is reflected in the colours and decor and remember that first impressions count.
